The sumps on the 6 speed automatic gearboxes are made from plastic, they can bend and warp over time, causing fluid leakage hence renewal is very important. Lumpy or jerking transmission /gear changes are usually signs indicating that Transmission service is overdue. HP6 - fluid DOES NOT conduct electricity. These transmissions use a special non-conductive fluid. Use of ANY other fluid can cause irreparable damage to the transmission ECU. PLEASE ENQUIRE BEFORE PURCHASING TO AVOID DISSAPPOINTMENT.
