Land Rover Defender 90 Truck Cab Range Rover Hybrid 3.9 V8

  
I have owned the vehicle for a number of years but new projects have brought on a reluctant sale. The Land Rover is well built on a solid Range Rover chassis which has been thoroughly wax oiled inside and out. MOTd until the 20th of June 2020 the Land Rover is ready to go.

Stainless steel exhaust system with one centre mounted silencer for the neighbours. The vehicle could come with various small spares to include a spare modular wheel, spare wheel arches and a brand new galvanised military front bumper. I have made subtle improvements to this vehicle to include modular steel wheels with BFGoodrich mud terrain tyres, in serviceable condition, twin 12 electric thermostat controlled cooling fans and a Momo/Land Rover steering wheel. The Ifor Williams hardtop fits over a single loop roll bar in the rear tub. The engine is a low mileage 3.9 serpentine rover v8, removed from a 1997 Discovery ES.

It is running on a hot wire EFI system with a 14CUX ECU. The tune resister has been replaced to run a non cat MAP. The gearbox is a strong LT95 from an early v8 110, with over drive. The linkage to engage the over drive needs finishing off. This is a very powerful and reliable Land Rover in good condition for a vehicle of its age.
