Here we have my Range Rover classic 3.9 v8 Vogue SE 1994. When I got the vehicle a couple of months ago, I recommissioned the engine with a full filter/ fluid service, new plugs, HT leads, vacuum advance unit and inlet valley gasket. All fluids have also been changed in the gearbox, transfer box and axles. The brakes were not up to par so I fitted refurbished calipers all round with new front discs, new brake hoses all round and the hard lines changed where needed.ABS is functioning correctly as is the brake booster. The front drivers side axle swivel has been rebuilt with new bearings and seals and the A frame ball joint was replaced, along with a coil spring conversion to remove the troublesome air suspension. All four wheel beatings have been changed when doing the refurbishment. The grey leather interior is in good condition for its ages with a few areas where it has worn however it is not ripped. The electric seats works as they should however the heated seats are a bit hit and miss on the drivers side. The remote central locking works on the button as does the electric sunroof and windows. The head lining has sagged a touch (a common Range Rover issue) however if caught early should easily be savable and there are plenty of youtube videos to show how. Bodywork wise it has various age related marks worse. The crease in the passenger rear door, however. When polished up looks very presentable. The sills have been previously replaced as have the rear arches and boot floor so it is solid in all the usual places and I have cleaned and undersealed it thoroughly to keep it protected underneath for many years. The truck has mot till end of January next year, all the advisories have been addressed apart from the. Play in the front radius arm as if I were to sort them out I would have fitted a polybush kit (well worth doing). Tyres are matched on the axle with all terrain fitted to the rear all have good tread. The car could do with someone finishing the detail.
Bits as its just not for me, some interior trim, adjusting the panels, tidy a bit of body work and tune ecu better than it is. I have an LPG kit in the boot. In the sale, it will need some additional parts to be able to make work, but the tank and lines are there as in ecu and harness (I would put an old school system on it but the tank and lines are still useful). More than welcome for you to come have a look and a poke round, test drives available around our site, having vehicle collected is also not a problem. Overall a useable vehicle which can be done as a rolling restoration if you so wished, with the prices of these going crazy at the moment this is a good way to get into one without breaking the bank and any work you do will only increase its value.
