I have owned this car since 2011 I have had many Range Rover classics over the years and still own 3 other Range Rovers, they have all been used to do what they do best, off roading. I used the car for a short while to tow my competition vehicle around but realized this LSE was too good to be wrecked by me, so I brought a P38 and used the P38 for towing. The LSE was dry stored in my workshop, it was started on a regular basis and moved around the workshop until one of the brake pipe corroded and we lost the fluid all over the floor. About 18 months ago we replaced all the brake pipes and the car started without any problem.

We cleaned the car and realised it needs a good home. There has been some welding carried out to the sills and floor pan in the past and it was wax oiled when we first had the car. There is some bubbling of the paint at the bottom of the wings, a little bubbling at the bottom of the lower tailgate and a little rust around the bottom of the rear passenger door on the driver side which all can be seen in the pictures. The top tail gate is good and works as it should. This not a show room car or been tarted up for sale, this is just a good genuine honest solid LSE Range Rover.

It still has air-suspension which works although there is a slight leak somewhere on the near side front bag. If it is left standing for a few days the front drops on that side but works perfectly well when driving.

The radio is no longer working but we haven't looked to see what the problem is. It turns on but no sound comes from the speakers. It has had a new gearbox and transfer box fitted prior to me owning the vehicle which is evident from the label on the gear box. The only real down point is the bonnet, the outer skin is acceptable apart from a small rust patch on the corner again this can be seen in the photos, but the inner frame has corroded.

I do have a second-hand frame which comes with the car which I have never got around to fitting. Electric seats and wing mirrors all work, the inner rear view mirror has suffered from age and will need changing. It does have MOT until March 2022, but if I keep this vehicle it is just going to get knocked about and it needs a good home. I have tried to identify everything I know and believe I have covered everything. But again this is a good honest genuine car.

I also have two very good spare front wings in Plymouth blue and several other spares like window motors and central locking actuators. The item "Range Rover LSE 4.2 1993" is in sale since Thursday, July 22, 2021.
